Zoon modem not connecting to PC and too hot

Hello everyone,
I have the following problem with one Zoon v3 modem:

When connected via USB to a PC, the computer starts by detecting it, and after a few seconds it looses the connection to the modem, as if we were unplugging it. The modem is of course still plugged in.
The USB cable is brand new and I also tested with different cables and on different PCs, having the same behavior.
On the modem, all of the LEDs start to blink (4 blue, 2 red and 1 green).
Additionally, the modem is abnormally hot.

Does anyone knows if anything that can be done to correct the problem?
