I am currently in the process of planning a new project that involves controlling multiple devices through a single interface. Ideally, I need a controller that can handle a mix of inputs (e.g., buttons, sensors) and outputs (e.g., motors, LEDs). 
I’m also considering expanding the system down the line, so a board that supports easy expansion is a big plus. The project may also require some custom code or adjustments, so I’m leaning towards development boards with strong community support and good documentation. 
I’ve seen a few options in the market, including [list any boards you’re considering, e.g., Arduino, Raspberry Pi, etc.], but I’m not sure which one would offer the best balance of performance, ease of use, and future-proofing. My primary concern is ensuring that the controller will integrate seamlessly with other components in the system while maintaining flexibility for future upgrades. Any recommendations on boards that could meet these needs?
