[Unitree Go2] Project

Hi everyone,

I’m currently evaluating remote inspection solutions for oil and gas applications and am particularly interested in platforms using the Unitree Go2 robot. I’m looking to understand what kind of technologies different teams or companies have implemented for this use case.

Specifically, I’m curious about:

  • What types of sensors are being used (e.g., gas detection, thermal, LiDAR, etc.)?
  • How is data being transmitted? Is it streamed live during the mission or stored and transmitted later when the robot returns to the charging/base station?
  • Are you using wireless connectivity like LTE, 5G, or Wi-Fi in the field?
  • Any interesting features like edge computing, modular sensor payloads, or integration with SCADA systems?

If you’ve worked on something similar or know of good implementations, I’d appreciate any insights or examples. I’m trying to get a broader understanding of the capabilities and approaches in this space.
