Hi everyone,
I’m new to the Unitree Go2 and am exploring ways to connect to the Go2 Edu without using an Ethernet cable. Based on some initial research, I’ve come across two possible options:
Wireless transmitter and receiver hub – This setup appears to be effective, though it does come with a higher cost.
WiFi dongle – This seems to function similarly to the first option but without the need for a separate receiver device.
I’d really appreciate any insights or suggestions from those with experience.
We recommend connecting a WiFi stick such as TL-WN722N with a long range antenna (budget friendly) or any other high-end WiFistick with long range for remote operation.
Is there any instructions to make Unitree GO2 EDU Jetson available through WLAN? I have purchased the TL-WN722N and have no idea how to connect to our WLAN. On the website GO2 Steamdeck | Unitree GO2 there is also no detailed information. Just a model is mentioned. Many thanks inadvance.
I have not found the wireless USB adapter here. I am using the TL-WN722N(EU)Ver4.0 with S/N:2249E5004521. And I am not sure, is this also plugin usage available for Ubuntu or something extra needs to be installed first.
Okay it works when I plug in directly the port on Go2. I can connect see the internet connected to Go2. However the port was used before and I think was connected to the Open Manipulator.
Hi,
after the Unitree Go2 is connected to the WLAN in our lab.(succeeded to ping other users on the WLAN adn router) I try to get the topics from GO2 on my PC. My PC is also on the subnet of WLAN.
However I think the topics are still posted under 192.168.123.X but not in the subnet of WLAN. Should here extra steps done, so that the topics are also posted in WLAN?
