I tried twice to create a dev environment in Ubuntu. Both times ended up with unsolvable problems which appear to be because of incompatible versions of one or more of all the dependencies.

I’m sure there are others I’m forgetting.
Does anyone have a working environment for development and simulation who took detailed notes that would tell me compatible versions of all the packages that are required? I would be SO greatful!!!
