Capacity SMPS2Dynamixel

Hi all,

I am developing a six legged robot prototype for construction equipped with 19 servomotors Dynamixel XL430. They will be powered from a number of SMPS2Dynamixel modules. I would like to ask the power capacity of a single SMPS2Dynamixel module to know how many are to be installed. To avoid unwanted voltage drop I would like to know also correct connection diagrams.

Dear Alfonso.

thanks for your topic and using our community forum.

The typical ratings of the SMPS are 12V and 5A and peak voltage of 20V. So in case of powering 19 x XL430 Servomotors I would recommend at least two SMPS.
