The unitree go2 app you have installed is it the international version. Please remove the current version and install the international version.
I’m using the android version. There is only one version I can see in Play-Store. I re-installed it but no change. I get the same message.
Please try installing it from the Unitree website instead of the Play Store.
I deleted the app from my phone. I installed the international version for Android from the website. I get the same message.

Currently, Unitree team is on vacation and will be back on the 9th of october due to national holidays. Please contact support@mybotshop.de
I downloaded the China mainland version of the app. Now I can bind.
Hey Kari Are you using Android or IOS device?
because if you try to install the China version app it doesn’t install.
I am using Android. And I could bind. But I think it is a bit strange.
Hi all, hi @Sohail,
I have tried to bind to the Unitree Go2 Air with the app (just installed) via Android and iOS, via International, China mainland and Play Store versions on Android, via AP mode and via Wi-Fi mode, essentially all possible combinations, all after restarting the Go2 and with a usual Wi-Fi router external to the Go2.
None has worked so far:
In AP mode, it gets stuck in “Hotspot Connection” (infinite loop). It does not show a check mark before “Please connect to Wi-Fi: ”, which I have done, while is shows a check mark before “Turn off your phone’s 4G/5G cellular network”.
In WiFi mode, it gets stuck in “Connect the robot dog”, finally ending with “Robot dog connection failed” after successful “Wi-Fi Configuration” and successful “Register to Cloud”.
Any idea how to solve this?
It seems to be a general problem with the app, which might require an update from Unitree.
Thank you very much in advance!
Hi @dominik,
Are you using a corporation/university WiFi as generally they block certain access routes. Sometimes the default WiFi routers are troublesome. Could you try using a mobile WiFi hotspot for connection?
Have you tried connecting with a different mobile?
